10.June

10.June

  • Paul home today to pack for his trip to England.
  • Lunch out.
  • Pick up Alix and Chance at 3:00 to drive to the airport in Boston.
  • Heavy traffic once we hit Boston.  I am so grateful we do not have to deal with this on a daily basis.
  • Dinner at the airport.
  • Say good-bye to Paul for eight days.
  • Easy drive home.

9.June

9.June

  • Feeling a little under-the-weather.  Yes, one too many margaritas last night.
  • Paul convinced me a walk downtown with Neko to get breakfast would make me feel better.
  • Ate our bagels at Turtle Park.  We found out our new favorite coffee place is not open on Sundays.  A coffee bar not open on Sundays seems very wrong to me.
  • I dropped Chance and a friend at the matinee.
  • Drove the disliked dirt road to pick up Alix.  Wonder why the mom never offers to do any driving.  Maybe she doesn't like the dirt road either.

8.June

8.June

  • Fabulous breakfast to start the day.
  • While walking Neko, Lucy invited us in for coffee and to discuss her bringing Alix to Ohio for a week at the end of the month while she visits family.
  • Continued our walk and ran into John and Diane.
  • Paul planted Hyacinth beans and ran sting for them to climb.
  • Drove Alix to Hailey's for sleep over.  Dislike the last 3/4 mile dirt road to her house.
  • Dinner at John and Diane's.  Fun evening but possibly one too many margaritas.

    4.June

    • It was brrrish.  I had to wear a sweatshirt most of the day.
    • Paul and I took this life expectancy calculator.  Paul's expected to live to be 104 and my age was calculated to be 95.
    • Bought Day One journal app for my mini
    • Trying out a summer beer by Magic Hat

      3.June

      3.June

      • More rain in the morning and then sunshine.  Seasonal temps have returned.
      • A full week of work for Paul.
      • 11 1/2  more school days.
      • Picked Alix up from school early for her appointment with the neurologist.  The diagnosis is familiar hand tremors.  So nothing to be concerned with.  However in going over her health history, he was concerned with her sleeping and snoring habits.  She's been scheduled for a sleep study at the end of June.
