Tree Removal

We had the huge Black Locus Tree in our backyard cut down. It had been threatening to fall and crush the back of the house. (On a few really windy nights we actually moved Chance from his bedroom in anticipation of the tree falling.) The tree removal team arrived with a huge crane because of the height of the tree. It was an exciting time around here. Chance documented the entire process.



























We decided to have them leave the pieces and we (mostly Paul) would cut it into cord wood for future sale and for the fire pit.
