It's late Friday afternoon. Alix is in the zone watching PBS Kids on Paul's laptop. She's completed her first week of school and I've completed my first week of being home alone during the day. She had a great week and has fit right in as I knew she would.
I found out the time between 8:30 and 2:30 zooms by. I had a somewhat productive week. Running errands seems to take up a lot of my time. I'm going to try to plan better next week to not have to be out and about so much. Also sprinkled in was finishing a belated Christmas gift for Chance's teacher -- a pair of fingerless gloves; shredding lots of very old paperwork, and finally putting away the rest of our Christmas gifts. What I didn't get done: Happy New Year's cards, taking down the Cmas tree, and baking cookies. But hey there is always next week.
