Meeting a Blogging Inspiration

I had the delight of meeting one of my favorite bloggers at a book signing at our local independently owned bookstore.  I have been following Amanda Blake Soule's blog SouleMama since 2006.  She's incredibly creative and inspiring.  Her photos are wonderful to look at.  Plus she has the cutest family.  Her blog would be one I'd want to have with me on a desert island.

Amanda was in Concord promoting her second book Handmade Home, a collection of simple sewing and crafting project for your home.  After she answered several questions from the group we were each able to chat with her personally as she signed books.  I was starstruck.  I completely over-analyzed what I was going to say to her.  Thankfully she is down-to-earth and she was able to put me right at ease.  She's just so sweet.  I'd like to think I am a bit like her -- a woman, wife, and mother who fiercely loves her family and likes to show her love in many ways.
