Tropical Storm Irene
Alix and Chance hunkered down to wait out Tropical Storm Irene. We had heavy rain and some strong winds but not as severe as we were expecting. We lost power twice for a few hours.
Happily the avocado tree survived the storm. We were able to witness just how flexible those branches are.
