This Christmas day was quietly celebrated with just the four of us. (On Sunday we had a Keene Christmas.) We woke to a covering of snow. Gifts were opened while the monkey bread baked. After breakfast we walked over to bring Miss Mesa to our house for the week while her people visited family in Chicago. Alix and Chance spent the afternoon getting to know their 5th generation ipod touches they received from their grandparents. I spent many moments in front of the mirror admiring my sparkly diamond hoop earrings.
And yes, our tree is only decorated with lights and the red bow we used to tag the tree.
