Pam's View - A Sock

I took a class at Shaker Village on Sock Knitting with two other women. In the class we would knit a mini sock. Sarah had us knitting with chunkier than usual sock yarn and larger needles. I chose a Debbie Bliss 100% Merino wool and size 4 double pointed needles.

The class was supposed to run from 10-2, but by 1:00 our instructor, Sarah, (who also teaches the homeschool classes A&C have taken) realized that we were not going to be finished by 2:00. Sarah, who is just the best, generously agreed to stay until 4:30. And even with staying until 4:30 I did not quite finish until today.

I think I am ready to start a pair for myself. This time I'll use size 2 needles and Blauband Jacquard 80% wool and 20% nylon yarn.

But before the socks I have to finish Chance's hat.
