Snowshoing in Fox Forest

After dropping Alix off for her weekend with Grammie and Granpa, the rest of us strapped on our snowshoes (not Neko) and explored the winter woods of Fox Forest State Park.  Most of the trail we picked had not been traveled on since the last big snowfall.  Paul and Neko took the lead making it a bit easier for Chance and I to follow.  It was a beautiful morning to be out.  Chance was a trooper.  He seemed to be enjoying himself chattering all the way.

A well deserved rest

Taking a well deserved break.

Forest Shelter

Chance found this shelter along the trail.  He thought it would be a cozy place to wait out a storm.

Evidence I was there

The only evidence that I was along for the snowy walk.
