It's been raining since Saturday with rain and below average temps in the forecast for the entire week. Neko and I have been trying to get out for short walks in between the showers -- no friends at the park to run with. The day-lilies and ferns are heavy with raindrops. The clothesline stands empty. Chance's bike and helmet lay abandoned on the grass. Jeans have replaced shorts and capris. The down comforter has been piled back onto the bed. Meatloaf and Crash-Hot potatoes are on the menu.
you are not alone! it has been raining something horrible here - even more than usual. I just put on jeans and sweatshirt myself. UGH - I thought it was June!
