Milder temps this afternoon got me outside chopping ice along walkway to the back door. Neko and I also got some rope-swing playing time in. He loves to grab the knotted end of the swing while someone sits on it and drag the rider around. It can be a little intimidating having that sharp-toothed, growling mouth so close to your butt.
After school there were some tense moments when a printer wouldn't print (out of paper) and laptops locked up without documents being saved. This prompted a roll-your-eyes, loud voices, you-just-don't-understand discussion about waiting until the last day to complete a project. This sadly set the tone for the rest of the evening.
I fell asleep watching some program on the History channel. Oh, and Paul did call to cancel the cable that we've only had for three weeks. He was told it's cheaper to keep the cable for the next six months because it's bundled with the internet service and that's the promotion Comcast is currently running.
Paul pointed out this shadow to me.

oh thank heavens - I thought my children were the only ones who left projects to the VERY last minute - we had a 9pm run to the store on Sunday night (yes, the same night as Downton Abbey!) to purchase a flash drive needed to complete said project.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I had the same "bundled" conversation yesterday with someone - darn Comcast...
