A Respite from the Rain

The continuous June rain let up today to allow Alix and Chance a swim at our neighbor's pool. I tried to explain to them the water was going to be cold because of the lack of sun to warm its water. But they shrugged me off in favor of the excitement of the diving board. In the end the cold water won out after about fifteen minutes. But it's only June and the sun has to grace us with it's presence for more than one day a week. We'll be back.
