One of my favorite summertime meals is cooked on the fire. Thickly sliced red potatoes, red onions, garlic, spicy local sausage and lots and lots of butter sealed in bag made from heavy duty aluminum foil placed on a rack over hot coals to cook until the potatoes are tender.
While this mouth-watering meal cooks we sit by the fire and listen to A Prairie Home Companion on NHPR on our wind-up radio and I enjoy a mason jar or two of Sangria.
