20:365

Glistening, gleaming sharp and clear
They form on objects overnight
Growing as the day goes by
And sparkling in the light.
Dazzling diamonds on the eaves
Pointing toward the snowy ground
Sharp and cold, they linger on
Where icy winds abound
Water drips from icy spikes
Threatening, nature’s spear
And silently they melt away
And finally disappear
