15.April

• We stayed in bed much later than usual.

• Chance volunteered to clean out the gutters while Paul attached the pipes to the four rain barrels in the off chance we get some rain some time this spring.  It is scary dry here.  We have been under critical fire conditions for days.  

• Chance also helped me fill my bird feeders.  (I'm not sure who this helpful and wonderful pleasant Chance is but I hope he sticks around awhile.

• Alix and I went shopping for shorts in anticipation of the 90-degree temps in the forecast for tomorrow.  We didn't have much luck with the shorts but she did come home with four pair of flip-flops, a couple t-shirts and tank tops. 

• Pleasant Chance stuck around through the afternoon.  He even asked for some help with his math homework.   

• We wanted burgers for dinner but the Co-op was out of beef.  We settled for BLTs instead.

• We ended the weekend watching Glee, Modern Family and The Middle.
