Fairy Houses with Tracy Kane

Alix and I had the pleasure of meeting author Tracy Kane this morning at Cole Gardens. Tracy treated us to a reading of her book Fairy Houses. She is also the author of Fairy Boat,

Fairy Flight, Fairy Houses and Beyond, and Fairy Houses Everywhere. These books are magical treasures to be looked at and read again and again.

She also has a new chapter book Forest Secrets which will be released in October. We were able to buy an advanced copy.

Tracy signed Alix's copy of Fairy Houses. "For Alix - A kindred spirit who spreads Nature's magic everytime you create fairy houses."

After the reading, the children were able to build their own fairy houses out in the gardens. Alix built a Fairy Hotel.

It was a magical morning. We are going to try to plan on going to the 5th Annual Fairy House Tour held in Portsmouth the weekend of September 19th and 20th.
