A Thursday

• Chance is still home.  Poor guy is starting to go a little stir crazy.
• Purchased more birdseed today for the gold and purple finches and the morning doves.  Sadly it will also feed the pain in the ass squirrels.  If I only I had a better aim with the slingshot.
• Chance's friend, Kevin, came over after school.  They played Lego Indiana Jones on the Wii.  It so funny to listen to their commentary on the game.
• I finished reading Game Chance:  Obama and the Clinton's, McCain and Palin, and the Race of a Lifetime.   Very interesting behind the scenes look at the campaign.  What struck me was amount of pressure everyone was under, not just the candidates but their staff as well.  It also amused me that whenever there was a bad news to report  there was always a scramble of who on the staff would be the bearer of the news or sometimes it was decided the bad news could wait.
